We would starve if it weren't for Trader Joe's, but when I'm in Syracuse, the only place I want to shop is Wegmans. There just is no comparison. Sample stations on weekends are especially enticing; we tasted shrimp poke, lobster orzo, cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, sourdough with brie, roasted kobe beef, vanilla ice cream with jam and blueberry crostata. That was a meal in itself!
