小舅舅 flew in from Boston and gave Joseph his first violin lesson! Thanks for being such a patient teacher. Joseph was really into it and actually lasted 45 minutes. Even the case was fun for about 10 minutes. I expected lots of screeching, but the music sounded pretty good. (Because 小舅舅 was in charge of the fingerboard and helped position the bow.) Don't worry, I'm not going to go all out tiger mom. My son will get to take bathroom breaks when he practices. 🙂
