Couldn't resist taking a peek inside the Lodge at St. Edward State Park, even though we weren't staying there. They were setting up for the wedding of the kid of the Space Needle's owners, and due to an oversight, we didn't make the guest list.

A century year ago this building was a seminary, then it was essentially abandoned for a couple decades until it reopened earlier this year as a hotel. Super swanky, also a bit creepy.

We poked around inside (no one stopped us) and then took a picture with the antique car parked out front. A valet came running up and I thought he was going to yell at us, but no, he opened the car door and invited the kids to hop in!
