Pullman is a small and friendly town, and I mentioned in this Seattle Times story how the mayor of Pullman even gave me his cell phone number. After the story ran online, the mayor of Seattle e-mailed me to give me HER cell phone number! Bwahahahaha! Who knew Jenny Durkan has a sense of humor?

Chris and I both lived in Pullman in the '80s — actually, we lived 3 blocks from each other, but we didn't meet until many years later at the Seattle P-I. Small world!
