I resented all those years my mom made me take piano lessons, but all of a sudden, I'm wishing I'd been a better student. We got Joseph a keyboard so he could have some music in his life -- music that comes with a volume knob. He loves pushing the keys and buttons. He also really likes it when I play the ABC song (the only tune I remember) and sing along. First it was re-learning Mandarin, now I'm re-learning piano. What has Joseph done to me?? My mom is definitely getting the last laugh.
