Coloring and some catch up

The family that colors together stays together. Joseph really, really wanted to everyone to color, so we made his dream come true. A couple of photos from before social distancing started: My lunch dates.   Sunlight at the Gates Foundation visitor's center.   Water play at the science center.   We used a library pass to visit the Children's Museum the last day before they closed. It was suuuper quiet, like Paul was one of three kids in there. No line at the art studio, and we found this new wall-mounted spirograph. Paul picks up a few last-minute groceries.   Paul and I went to school to shoot some photos of kids for the auction, which later got cancelled. My silly boy. He was so proud of the goodie bag he made us. Inside were some stationery items, and a used tissue with a booger on it.   No idea where Paul got the crafty gene. While I was busy, Paul went and got a sheet of paper, cut out the pieces and taped together this figure by himself.   He also made this "computer" all by himself. And a book. He bent a piece of cardboard, cut paper in half and taped them inside. I was in the living room reading with Joseph, and he was huddled over his secret project in the kitchen. He was so proud of his project when he was done. Maybe this isn't mind boggling to you, but I am so used to Joseph who I couldn't pay to craft.
