We went to an after-hours Connections event at The Museum of Flight, and I couldn't believe it, we had the whole huge museum practically to ourselves. Only 16 families signed up. Really?? We got to see how low air pressure makes water boil in a vacuum chamber (which is why astronauts need super duper space suits) and hear about a crazy man named Joseph Kittinger who in the '50s, rode a hot air balloon into space and jumped back to Earth and didn't die.
The boys are kind of way too big for the kids zone, but they still love trying out all the airplanes.
