What a glorious October day. 60 degrees plus, and the promised showers never showed up. 外婆 is here for an unscheduled visit, and we went to Joseph's favorite playground together. He never gets tired of looking for the 13 butterflies hidden throughout the Maple Leaf play area. This one needs some explaining, but it was too funny to leave out. The Chinese character for "2" is 二, and "3" is 三. Joseph wanted to label each of the 13 butterflies, but he can't quite manage to write "2" and "3" yet. He came up with this solution on his own: for butterflies 11, 12 and 13, he wrote, "11, 1二, 1三."
