Life with two
Before I had Paul, I worried a lot about what adding another person to our gang would do. It felt like Joseph and I finally had the perfect dynamic and I loved our days of adventures together. I nervously counted down the days until that relationship would be turned upside-down.
The first few weeks were hard. My mom came, which was great, but Joseph acted out a lot because he missed his mama. He was never jealous of Paul, though. From day one, he referred to Paul as "Joseph's little baby." I left Paul on my bed one morning and walked in a few minutes later to find this: Joseph snuggling with his baby, giving Paul hugs and kisses.
Paul turned two months old today, and now I can't imagine not having two little boys. With Joseph, I was always thumbing my "The First Year" book, anxious for the next milestone. This time around, I'm enjoying Paul's time as a squishy infant. Because I know it'll be gone in a blink.
