Seems like Joseph suddenly grew up a lot in the last few weeks. He's feeding himself, pushing up to sitting, even standing with help. Doesn't hurt that Wai Pwoh sent over a box of handsome big boy clothes. I'm a little biased, but Joseph gets cuter and cuter by the day. No, wait -- make that by the
second.

Joseph never wanted to stand and bounce in my lap, and every time I tried to prop him up under his arms, he'd turn into a limp noodle on purpose. Lately I've been stocking the top of the coffee table with fun toys, and now Joseph asks me to help him up all day long. Today, I even caught him teetering up on his tippy-toes! Now that it's getting warmer, Joseph can get a better grip with sock-less feet.

Why hello, gorgeous!

Joseph is getting to be a pro at stacking and threading. Love the bed head here and that intense concentration.

So far, we are doing a good job turning Joseph into a bookworm. After playing with cars, his next favorite thing is when I ask, "Joseph, do you want to read a book together?"

As an infant, Joseph spent hours and hours gazing at the trees outside. Here's how they looked when he came home, new leaves just emerging.

Fast forward one year: leaves out, cars in as the top choice of entertainment. Although I have to say, I've caught Chris playing with the cars at night after Joseph has gone to bed. (He says he is putting them away.)
