Ikat show at Seattle Art Museum

Really lovely ikat special ex at the Seattle Art Museum, through May 29. Weavings from Asia, Africa, central America, and a stunning contemporary installation in the first gallery.

I'm a sucker for large-scale abstract pieces. This one is by Indiana artists Rowland and Chinami Ricketts.
Took a quick walk through the contemporary galleries. My all-time favorite color scheme (black and white) and geometric shapes.
