Cannon Beach

Took more pictures of pelicans than my children, that's a first! Beautiful day of sand, waves, kite-flying, and yes, pelicans, at Cannon Beach.

I was WAY underlensed, but this guy flew right by me and the image came out miraculously sharp.
"Mama, you're wearing a blanket!" It's not easy being the only female in this household.
Again, way underlensed, but that rocky band on Haystack Rock is filled with murres. A birdwatcher told us he saw a puffin too, but it was too small for us to see.
What little brothers do best.
