Oh, California! We spent 10 days in the San Jose area soaking in 67 and sunny and being thoroughly spoiled by Auntie and Uncle. Afternoons at the park -- such a treat coming from Seattle, where it's dark by 4:30 p.m.

Joseph and his best bud, Uncle. The two of them spent a good half hour running up and down a little slope, laughing the entire time. Uncle also tried to teach Joseph how to walk like a chicken. Taking pictures of a lemon tree in someone's front yard. Kind of weird, but hey, we were playing tourist, and a real live lemon tree bursting with lemons is something we don't see every day. A happy little boy with a very patient goat. San Jose's Happy Hollow Zoo and Park was a toddler's dream come true.
