Bellevue Botanical Garden

Field trip to the Eastside today for a morning walk through the Bellevue Botanical Garden. I get all nostalgic when I see baby leaves emerging. This time of year is when we brought Joseph home. As an infant, he loved gazing at the leaves outside our windows. Now that he's almost two, brand-new leaves are nolonger entertaining. We did spot a real, live bunny, however. For the rest of our walk, Joseph kept calling for "tu tu (兔兔)," and was very bummed when I explained the tu tu went home for a nap. Also, at the playground today, Joseph climbed up some stairs all by himself and said, "Shiao JoeJoe hao ban ban (小JoeJoe好昄昄)." He's talking in sentences now, and it cracks me up!
