The animals are the side attraction at the zoo for Joseph. (Which is why there aren't really any animals in these pictures from the zoo.) There's so much other stuff to see and do, like push his umbrella stroller, step on a metal grate, walk along bleachers. Wai Po was very understanding and went along with what Joseph wanted to do. Joseph's favorite place in the zoo is the elephant barn. Not because there are elephants inside, but because there's a slope just outside to walk up and down... up and down... a gazillion times. Ah, also very fun: swinging the levers on the souvenir token machines. Again, no animals.
