My first grader tested positive for COVID last week. It was his FOURTH day of school. The class was not quarantined, or even required to get tested. The school did not notify all the parents in his grade, much less the rest of the building. We were not offered testing in the school.

I did everything to protect my child and he still got sick. It's terrifying, and I'm furious about the school's non-response. I wrote about what happened on TODAY.com because our children are too young to get vaccinated and parents need to know they can't trust the school.
