Flowers that thrive under neglect, aka plants I haven’t killed yet

The first of this year's roses, after a rain shower. I do nothing for the rose bushes we inherited, and they keep coming back. #blackthumb They smell so good, but I have to keep an eye on the kids to make sure they don't get poked. This bush produces enormous roses, bigger than my hand! . . This one's an overgrown rock rose bush. I just learned at the petals only last a day! Calla lilies from our yard, another plant that I ignore but still pops up every year. I'd been wanting to take pictures of them for literally two years, and hey, now I have the time. . . .
