Drove up to Snoqualmie Pass to play at Hyak Sno Park — yes, that's what Seattle children have to do to play in the snow. We had a BLAST!! Lots of room the parking lot all day (Friday) and the groomed sledding hill was unbelievably fun. Most importantly: nice, clean, heated restrooms. .   .   .     . .     .       On the way home, we stopped at Twede's in North Bend. I've never watched Twin Peaks; we were there for the kids' menu, which did not disappoint. Joseph and Paul loved their super fancy hot chocolates with whipped cream, sprinkles and chocolate sauce (I NEVER let them have this stuff).     .   .   $20 for parking + $30 for food = An incredibly fun and exhausting $50 day!
