This year, for the first time, Joseph was big enough to *get* the whole Easter egg hunt thing. We had a lot of fun at the Miller Community Center egg hunt, which was a really nice event because it was just for the little kids 5 and under. Joseph doesn't know about candy yet (I'm a mean mommy like that), but he liked opening the eggs from his haul. We met a very nice young man in a fluffy bunny costume. 🙂 And some egg dying at home. We went to a second Easter egg hunt at the community center down the street. Joseph was so little the first time he went! Every year I think about taking Joseph up to the Tulip Festival in Skagit County, but between the carsickness and port-a-potty situation, it hasn't happened yet. So our tulip festival is our neighbor's lovely front garden. Joseph got a balloon at the community center, which he decided to plant in the garden.
