Joseph loves numbers. He really, really loves numbers. One night, I stuffed and sewed up a piece of felt in the shape of a number four. Joseph was thrilled when I presented it to him in the morning. Over the next month and a half, I sewed 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, until I finished the entire set of numbers. Joseph calls them his "號碼寶寶," or number babies. He snuggles with them while we read his bedtime story, and he tells stories through them. It's really cute, listening to him process the world through his stuffed numbers. He'll say, "When four baby was still in six mama's tummy..." or "Four baby is coming over to play at 3:30 this afternoon." I know, it's a little weird, cuddling felt numbers? But I love his little imagination and I love that he loves numbers. (He certainly didn't get that gene from me!) My sewing is rough, but my customer is happy!
