Spelling champ

Joseph and I went to play at the fountain at Seattle Center today. I have no idea what other people in Seattle do with their kids, because we're often the only ones out. It was windy, but the basin of the fountain is sheltered so it wasn't too bad. Joseph has a good time running around down there. Up and down the bumps, checking out the water, throwing a burr up the slope to watch it roll back down. All very, very exciting. While we were there, an airplane flew overhead and Joseph turned to me and said, "A-I-R-P-L-A-N-E." It took me by surprise, because I'd only told him that one a couple of times off-handedly, and apparently he was paying attention! Other new words today are "C-I-N-N-A-M-O-N" and "E-G-G." Joseph started spelling just before Valentine's Day, and has added a few words each day. That's my little spelling champ -- who's not even two yet!!
