Our favorite thing to do is going to playgrounds, and I wrote about four new neighborhood gems for The Seattle Times.
1. Westside Park was the first of a 5-playground crawl in Redmond. Five playgrounds in one afternoon, phew! After Westside Park, we hit the three at Marymoor Park and one at Grass Lawn Park.
2. Fairmount Playground in West Seattle
3. Lakeridge Park in Rainier Beach
4. Kennydale Beach Park in Renton: The biggest slide goes RIGHT up to the water's edge. Watch your kids and make sure no one goes for an accidental swim.
5. Lakewood Park in Columbia City didn't make the cut for the story because it was so small. The boys loved it nonetheless, especially the little rock climbing wall.
