Camillus Park has it all! Awesome spray park, a huge playground fort, plus an adult fitness zone so theoretically, you could work out while the kids are playing in the water. Or you could sit on a shady bench and eat chocolate and not have to share.

Another thrilling playground! This one features a three-story twisty tube slide. It's at the JCC behind Trader Joe's on Erie Blvd, and it's open after 6 p.m. (when the day campers have cleared out).

We hit a carnival at Ryder Park!

Someday I'll get together with six long-legged friends so we can rent one of these nifty 7-seater bikes at Onondaga Lake Park. My current clique (with short legs) loved the playground.
